"FUNK...FUNKADELIC!! I liked the Isley Brothers, War, Ohio Players, Jackson 5, Average White Band"
How did these artist and their music effect you and the people around you?
"It influenced the way we dressed the way we sang and danced. Everyone wanted to be like the stars."

"The songs were respectful and there was way less profanity."

What type of music and artists did you listen to?
"The music back then really couldn't be classified into a category. The songs were all about peace and happiness."
How did these artist and their music effect you and the people around you?
"It didn't really effect the people around me (black people.) The songs had a good influence but I personally didn't like where they got their peace from. They got it from drugs and alcohol instead of God. So it didn't really effect the people around me."

"The songs back then had way less profanity and were about peace not gang banging and sex."

"I didn't have any in perticular but i liked Louis Jordan Beans and cornbread but that was in the 50's."
